Aniwall is open

I decided to set up and open www.aniwall.net, an anime wallpaper website. So far I have a simple design up, and I’m going to be focusing on adding a LOT of wallpapers to the site. I think it will be fun just to share my massive collection for people to have :)

So go check it out! www.aniwall.net

In the past few years there has been a serious uprising in online entrepreneurs, young and old. It seems as if everyone and their mom can find ways to make money online now-a-days…which is FANTASTIC. Being one of them, I’ve noticed something about people like myself who sit at the computer all day long, hunched over and staring at a computer screen — back pains, dry eyes, knee pains, wrist pains, etc. It’s an unfortunate side-effect to e-commerce.

I think that we all take our health for granted, though. I think that everyone would benefit from taking a bit of time each day and doing some simple exercises that will help keep us from going insane and pulling their hair out (well…at least for a little while).

One of the things that I’ve done that has not only helped me remain physically fit, but feel better over all is…yep you got it…yoga. Yoga is an exercise that really stretches all your muscles and calms your body. It’s difficult, but if you take the time to even just do 10-20 minutes each day, it will really help.

Some people may be writing this off all ready saying, “Yea, whatever. Sitting in front of the computer all day isn’t unhealthy.” Well, unfortunately it is. Being hunched over can cause back problems, and having your wrist pressed against the table or mouse pad can cause issues in your wrists. Staring at the monitor can also decrease your sight.

So, try it! Just 10 minutes a day, try some yoga. Watch the following video to help you get started.

I’m totally playing this when it comes out :)

It was a stormy Sunday afternoon in Georgia, when Kyoko-san, her family, and her boyfriend decided to go out to Gondoliers for pizza. As they pulled into a parking space and began to get out of their fashionable mini-van, a very robust man stopped and turned to them in preparation of his ridiculous barrage  of religious non-sense.  All of the sudden, Kyoko-san and her family stopped dead in their tracks when they heard, “Have you been to church today?” They turned, thinking that the question may be directed at someone else, but wanted to make sure. Alas, the question was directed at them. Kyoko-san’s father responeded, “Yes,” to which the man asked, “Which one?” My father, not sure what to think about the questions, responded, “Transfiguration.” The man, clearly content with my father’s answer smiled and said, “You have a smile on your face as if you’ve been with the Lord today!” By this point, tumble weeds could have been blowing through the parking lot, because no one really knew what to make of the situation.

Now don’t get me wrong, I have no issues with christians (I’m Catholic, myself). But for the love of God….all I wanted was some pizza.

It’s something that every website owner fears…having their website stolen out from under them.

Just an hour ago, all the members of www.subeta.org received an e-mail from Keith, the owner, telling everyone to log out of the site. Why? Two ex-staff hacked and took over the website. This has left Keith with no other option but to try and salvage what he can of the site and take it to a new domain: www.subeta.ws . As I receive more news, I will update you with the future of Subeta.

With this new news, I must stress to every online avatar community owner [and every website owner, for that matter] to spend a little bit of time revising their website security. Don’t let the same thing happen to you!
